SAZsport, the German trade publication, reports that Finnmark, a German buying and marketing cooperative, has added the claim “Die Outdoor Insider” to its name. While all the 16 affiliated retailers keep the names of their stores, their store banners will be co-branded with the new corporate name, which also appears on the alliance’s website and its joint catalog. The website indicates that Finnmark operates a factory outlet store as well as single-branded web shops for The North Face and, most recently, for Jack Wolfskin. The revenues of the retailers affiliated with Finnmark increased by 5.7 percent to nearly €30 million in 2009.
