Sport Achat, the French trade fair, enjoyed a 6 percent increase in attendance for its September edition, drawing 1,618 visitors in two days. The organizers regard this as a convincing result for their decision to shorten the summer edition of the fair from three to two days. This was done for the first time last year, yielding a stronger concentration of visitors without affecting the quality of discussions. For the first time this year the fair’s 180 exhibitors included a few golf brands, and the organizers are studying other categories to be added in the next years.
