Sportler has opened its 20th store in the Italian town of Merano, close to the Austrian border. Replicating a business model that it has successfully followed in Bolzano, the new 1,000-square-meter outlet is based on the Sportler Alpin format, which is totally dedicated to outdoor sports. The €500,000 investment by this Italian retailer, owned by the Oberrauch family, complements a regular multi-sport Sportler store in the same town.
