The Brazilian Adventure Sports Fair taking place in Sao Paulo has been directed so far mainly to consumers, attracting up to 60,000 people, but it has also welcomed about 500 retailers and 3,500 other types of trade visitors, including tour operators. Ten are invited by the fair every year from other parts of Latin America. After the organization of a successful Business Point last year, the next edition of the fair, scheduled for Sept. 23-26, will host for the first time a parallel B2B trade show, with the participation of about 25 companies, including local outdoor brands and big importers. It will also host for the first time a group of six Chinese exhibitors, led by the same people who organize the China pavilion at the Ispo show in Munich. The fair will accommodate a total of around 250 exhibitors on 20,000 square meters. In addition to outdoor sports (including paddle sports and some fishing tackle), it will cover adventure travel, surf and scuba diving.
