The EOG Association for Conservation has helped to save the Verle forest, an old-growth forest 50 kilometers northeast of Gothenburg, Sweden. The forest was threatened by logging and will now be preserved for future generations. Thanks to a grant from the association and the fund-raising of Ett Klick for Skögen (“A Click for the Forest”), the area was acquired from its former owner just six days before the cut-off date. The Click for the Forest NGO was nominated for support by Haglöfs, which is also a member of the association.
