The EOG Association for Conservation welcomes three new members which are Lowe Alpine U.K., W.L. Gore and Timex. At Ispo, more money to fund vital conservation work was raised during the show’s outdoor party and one of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group, SOG, provided a nice prize for a draw which took place during its own party: The prize included flights for two people with Scandinavia’s SAS airline to Kiruna in Lapland including a stay with a family at a Sami reindeer herding camp and the CO2 compensation for the flight. More projects were submitted to the association’s board during the show which will be subject to approval by the association’s members. The announcement of the winning projects which receive funds for 2009 will take place during the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen in July.
