The Lafuma Group reports a 2.4 percent increase in total sales to €170.2 million for the nine months of its current financial year, ended June 30. The more technical product lines and the group’s retail activities, including online sales, contributed to the growth. Excluding Eider, which was part of the group for only eight months, sales were down by 4.5 percent. Together, Eider and the Millet brand generated sales of €46.1 million, up by 59.5 percent from the same period a year earlier. The mainstream outdoor brand of the group, Lafuma, saw its sales decline by 9.8 percent to €71.2 million. The hunting and fishing segment, led by Le Chameau, was down by 5.9 percent to €16.0 million. Oxbow and the rest of the surf segment showed a 9.5 percent sales decline to €41.1 million.
