The Performance Days events held last month in Munich and Annecy drew record attendance, with 60 percent more visitors than the events in April. For the first time, many attendees came from other countries besides Germany and France, including visitors from Australia and the U.S. A total of 21 countries were represented at the shows, which featured 70 exhibitors from 15 countries. The newest trends and technology for winter 2012-13 were on display, and retailers could firm up their orders for summer 2012. Conferences discussed color management, fabric functions and sustainability. The next round of shows will be on May 12 and 13 in Annecy and on May 21 and 22 in Munich.
