This year’s OutDoor show will see the premier of the OutDoor Innovation Lab, a panel discussion of top-notch speakers from the brands, retailers, suppliers and other industry players. The moderator of the event is going to be Mark Held, secretary-general of the European Outdoor Group. The participants in the discussion are expected to include Thomas Lipke of Globetrotter, Carsten von Birckhahn of Vaude, Thomas Kiebler of W.L. Gore & Associates and Steve Brindle of the International Fashion Institute. Key issues debated by the OutDoor Lab panel will be questions like: "What does innovation mean to the companies’ organization and how do they innovate, ensuring that they stay ahead of their competitors?" The event is open to all show visitors and will take place on Friday from 4 p.m.
