Timberland has begun to apply its retail concept called “The Market Place” to the brand’s shop-in-shop systems in the outlets of its retail customers. The Market Place is an eco-friendly and energy-saving shop design. Timberland currently operates such marketplaces in 160 single-brand stores worldwide. The first shop-in-shop in Europe was opened at a shoe store in Geneva, Aeschbach Chaussures. Two more will open in Germany in March and April.
