Timberland is returning as the official footwear and outerwear sponsor of this year's Sundance Film Festival, taking place Jan. 20-30 in various cities in Utah. The company will provide exclusive co-branded ?Filmmaker Jackets? and premium winter boots to more than 320 filmmakers and programmers, and 2,200 volunteers and staff will get Timberland winter gloves. It will also host its Timberland Retreat, a booth open every day from Jan. 21-29 showing off the brand's outdoor footwear and apparel offerings for 2011. The company is providing recycling bins and helping with hauling and recycling during the festival. It will also use Facebook and Twitter to help bring the events of the festival to a worldwide audience. All of its activities will be viewable at www.timberlandsff.com, starting on Jan. 20.
