Toray is launching a new version of its ?Dermisax? membrane in the Brandnew section of the Ispo show next month which, the Japanese company claims, offers 100 percent more breathability than conventional materials. The new membrane, called ?Dermisax NX,? has a breathability of 30,000 to 50,000 g/m²/24h. It is said to be completely waterproof and windproof. It is also 200 percent stretchable. Bergans, Kjus and J. Lindberg are the first users in Europe for the first season of the new membrane, which is customizable and 100 percent made in Japan. To achieve higher breathability, Toray has changed the 3D molecular structure of its non-porous PU membrane.
