Messe München, organizer of the travel and leisure show, and the organizers of the Munich Auto Days, which are usually held simultaneously, have decided in consultation with the industry to cancel the events scheduled for Feb. 16-20, 2022. Messe München had held on to the event until the end, especially after successfully hosting TrendSet as a physical trade show this January. Now, however, the company is complying with the wishes of most exhibitors to avoid unnecessary cost and planning in the run-up to the show. In addition, at an end consumer event like, the number of visitors plays a decisive role – something the organizers would not be able to guarantee due to the visitor limits imposed by the government because of Covid.

Jessica Stuber, project manager of, commented: “We are in constant exchange with our clients, and the industry naturally wishes to meet again in person finally. But the current development of the Omicron wave, as well as the general conditions, unfortunately, do not allow this.”

The next edition of and the Munich Auto Days will take place from Feb. 22-26, 2023, at the trade show center in Munich.
