Trezeta, the Italian outdoor footwear brand, has teamed up with Ricochet Protect for its distribution in the French market. The French company already sells X-Action socks and Bodytech soles, among others. It belongs to the same owners as Ricochet Access, a long-established French distribution company with brands like Ziener and Dynamic. Trezeta was previously sold in France by GPG, a large-scale footwear distribution company, which had hired two former Merrell executives to head up its sports division, with brands from Keen to Crocs, Olukai and Trezeta. However, all these brands have moved on, leaving GPG’s sports unit to focus on Pony and a fresh deal to sell the footwear of World Industries, a skating brand.
