While it continues to grow on the Spanish market, TrekSta, the big Korean brand of outdoor shoes, has signed up Moxter Sporthaus and Warp as distributors for the Swedish and Czech markets, respectively. Moxter already represents the more expensive Meindl brand in Sweden. Warp represents Italy’s Kefas in the Czech Republic, but the addition of TrekSta gives it access to a line with Gore-Tex. The Korean brand, whose global sales jumped by 65 percent in the first half of this year, has extended its “NestFit” technology to sandals, walking and travel shoes. TrekSta is broadcasting a very sensual commercial on Korean television where a man and woman gently stroke and kiss each other’s feet.
