ABC-Mart, the Japanese-based sports retailer, which operates more than 800 stores in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, has reported a 15 percent sales increase to 150.0 billion yen (€1,097m-$1,284m) for the nine months ended Nov. 30. The gross margin dropped slightly to 55.4 percent, but net earnings rose by 28 percent to ¥19,290 million (€141m-$165m). The company is also owns Lacrosse, the American brand of outdoor boots.
