Alco, a Norwegian producer of outdoor and action sports clothing, has changed its name to Missing Link Group under the management of Linda Retvik, named as chief executive last summer. The 37-year-old company has thus adopted the name of its biggest brand, Missing Link, which represented last year almost half of its total turnover of 68 million Norwegian kroner (€8.8m-$10.9m). It stands for a more technical collection of clothing than Basecamp, a more leisure-oriented line of the company. Alco has also been marketing a line of snowboard clothing called SB. The group has a staff of 28 people and has all its clothing manufactured in Estonia, Turkey and China. It has been selling its products mostly in Norway, but it would like to launch them elsewhere soon.
