Arc’teryx supports an interdisciplinary research team of the ETH Zurich, the EPF in Lausanne and the universities of Basel and Zurich by providing equipment. The researchers are working on the effect of the global warming on rock-ice compounds which seem to loosen due to higher temperatures what has caused major rock slides and blockings. The research is executed at the Matterhorn and Jungfrau mountains.
