Bushnell and its technology partner Laser Technology (LTI) have reached a settlement in their patent dispute with the Brunton Company, the American producer of compasses and other outdoor equipment recently acquired by Fenix Outdoor. The settlement calls for Brunton to stop selling certain laser range-finders made by Lanshuo and to pay an undisclosed amount to Bushnell. A court in Kansas has already issued a preliminary injunction against Brunton and Lanshuo over the equipment following a patent infringement suit filed by Bushnell and LTI in January 2009.
