Stockholm-based supply chain traceability leader TrusTrace will host a pivotal panel at COP29 on Nov. 16, titled “Data-Driven Decarbonization: Navigating Fashion’s Path to Net Zero,” bringing industry experts together to discuss the role of data in transforming sustainability in fashion. The event will feature leaders from H&M Group, World Climate Foundation and Apparel Impact Institute and will take place from 13:00 to 13:40 at the Swedish Pavilion.

“High-quality data is essential to drive actionable change and secure financing for large-scale decarbonization in the fashion sector,” said Shameek Ghosh, CEO and co-founder of TrusTrace, emphasizing the importance of data in advancing sustainable practices. The session will focus on best practices, overcoming scaling challenges, and tapping into investment opportunities to drive meaningful climate action across global supply chains.

Participants in the session include Henrik Sundberg of H&M Group, Jens Nielsen of World Climate Foundation, Lewis Perkins of Apparel Impact Institute and Saravanan Parisutham, TrusTrace COO and co-founder. Together, they will examine strategies to overcome decarbonization barriers and share insights on leveraging data to build industry-wide collaboration.
