Falke is setting up a larger factory at Leskovac in Serbia for the manufacture of socks and hosiery that should start up next year. The German company has been producing knitted socks there since 1992. The new facility will take the place of a smaller factory that Falke opened in Hungary in 1993, employing 90 people lately. That factory will close down at the end of this month.
