Pacific Market International (PMI) said its U.S. camping and drinkware brand Stanley had a magnificent 2021, benefiting from strong growth in outdoor participation during the pandemic. PMI, which since last September has been owned by Illinois-based Havi Group, a privately held global company that provides supply chain, sourcing and consumer engagement services to global brands, does not disclose specific sales figures but cited 90 percent sales growth in the sporting goods and outdoor channels and 40 percent higher sales in the specialty channel for Stanley. DTC sales were up nearly 350 percent, according to PMI, while e-commerce was up 150 percent. The Camp Cook segment grew 1,000 percent, and the new Hydration category was up 215 percent.
