Lafuma is launching a new pan-European trail running circuit, by partnering with the organizers of 11 races due to be held in seven different countries this year, and possibly extended to Austria and Switzerland in 2012. The first race sponsored by the French firm already took place in Luxembourg last month. The last one will occur in Italy on Dec. 3. The company had already done something similar on a small scale three years ago by sponsoring seven races in Luxembourg and Belgium.
