Outdoor Research, the Seattle company that is preparing for its 30th anniversary next year, has restructured its management team. Most notably, it has created a new vice president role that will more closely link product development to the firm’s heritage and brand DNA. Jordan Wand, a 20-year industry veteran with experience at Nike, Merrell apparel and Polo Ralph Lauren, steps into the newly created position of vice president for product and marketing. With this move, Clark Campbell, the current vice president for design and operations, becomes vice president for operations focusing solely on supply chain and manufacturing. Alex Kutches, vice president for sales and marketing, will be vice president for sales only.
