Buff’s new Merino neckwear using natural pigments and ethically sourced wool produced locally in Barcelona.

Barcelona-based outdoor accessories brand Buff has unveiled a new addition to its Merino Lightweight line — multifunctional neckwear made from 100 percent mulesing-free Merino wool and dyed using natural plant-based pigments. The new models, named Merino Lightweight Natural Tye Dye, continue the company’s focus on combining performance, comfort and responsible design.

Each piece is handmade and individually dyed with pigments derived from plants such as madder root, weld and logwood, resulting in natural tones ranging from earthy reds to deep blues. The neckwear, produced locally in Buff’s facilities in Igualada near Barcelona, features lightweight (170 g/m²), breathable and temperature-regulating properties suited for cold or variable outdoor conditions.

By using renewable dyes and ethically sourced wool, Buff aims to reduce its environmental footprint while maintaining the technical advantages of Merino wool – softness, odor resistance and natural elasticity.

The new collection retails for €27.95 and reinforces Buff’s long-standing commitment to sustainability, local production and functional design.
