German backpack and outdoor gear manufacturer Deuter has unveiled its new Duffel Pro Pack and Duffel Pro Roller luggage series, combining robust construction with sustainable materials. Both products were tested extensively on a week-long adventure trip through Namibia, organized in cooperation with the Defender Experience and the Namibia Tourism Board.
The field test included seven international content creators who explored the country’s remote deserts and off-road terrain, exposing the gear to heat, dust and demanding travel conditions. “From rugged landscapes to bumpy tracks, the bags held up in every situation,” the company said.

Designed for travel and sustainability
The Duffel Pro Pack offers 30 liters of capacity in a streamlined backpack format designed for minimalist travelers, featuring a padded back panel, removable organization unit and carry-on compatibility. The Duffel Pro Roller provides 90 liters of rolling storage that collapses for easy storage when not in use, with terrain-ready wheels and optional shoulder straps.
Both models are made from PFAS-free, recycled materials and are certified by Bluesign, ClimatePartner and the German Green Button label. Water-repellent fabric and reinforced bottoms keep contents protected in unpredictable conditions.
Content marketing meets product testing
The collaboration with the Defender Experience and Namibia Tourism Board allowed Deuter to not only test product durability in real-world conditions but also generate authentic travel content to support its marketing efforts.
