The innovative skis feature a striking design by Porsche’s chief designer Michael Mauer, paired with input from former world-class skier and brand ambassador Aksel Lund Svindal. Drawing inspiration from Porsche’s performance ethos, the skis incorporate a sustainable natural fiber mix of rattan and flax – materials also used in Porsche’s motorsport vehicles like the 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR. The transparent top layer reveals the eco-conscious fibers, merging aesthetics with cutting-edge technology.

Svindal highlighted the versatility and agility of the skis, which are designed for off-piste adventures in remote locations. Mauer added that moments of creative pause—whether in the mountains or in the studio—played a vital role in shaping the ski’s unique concept.

The skis, available in two lengths (177cm and 184cm), feature a sidecut of 131-106-127mm and a 17.8m turning radius for the longer model. This collaboration emphasizes innovation, sustainability, and exceptional performance, making it an essential addition for freeriding enthusiasts.

To celebrate the ski’s creation, the film Time:Out documents the journey behind this pioneering partnership, showcasing how the expertise of Porsche and Head intersected to create this groundbreaking product.
