Salewa, the big Italian player in the outdoor business, projects a 5.5 percent increase in sales to €135 million. The Bolzano-based company says that a great deal of the increase is due to its footwear division, which was established in Montebelluna in 2005. The South Tyrolians expect to sell more than 100,000 pairs of Salewa and Dynafit shoes in 2009.
