The European Outdoor Group (EOG) and the American Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) have formally sealed a deal to join forces in the field of sustainability. The two federations aim to facilitate cross-adoption throughout the industry and to optimize the stakeholders' engagement. The agreement means a commitment to co-operate on the two organizations’ individual sustainability projects ensuring the production of complementary tools for the companies involved. The co-operation will be co-ordinated by Anne Girard from Petzl, who acts as co-chairperson of EOG’s Sustainability Working Group, and by Jill Dumain from Patagonia who heads OIA’s Sustainability and Fair Labor Advisory Council.
