Chinese trail running brand Kailas Fuga celebrated its 10th year as title sponsor of the Ultra-Tour Mount Siguniang (UTMS) by fielding elite international athletes and securing multiple podium finishes across race categories. Held at elevations between 3,400 and 4,500 meters, the UTMS is one of China’s most demanding trail events. This year’s races – ranging from 35k to 100k – attracted participants from across Asia and Europe, with Kailas Fuga and its Fuga Mountain Club claiming eight podium spots, including wins in the 35k, 45k, 50k and 75k events.
UTMS founder A Erman highlighted the event’s balance between endurance and safety: “Our partnership with Kailas Fuga has created a race that is both a challenge and a model for trail running.” Nina Sun, Kailas Fuga’s marketing director, said the extreme terrain offers valuable insights for product innovation and athlete experience.
Launched in 2014, UTMS has grown into one of China’s most recognized trail competitions, with race slots selling out in under ten minutes. Kailas Fuga continues to leverage the race as a platform to advance gear development and promote trail running globally.
