Andrea Cannelloni, Napapijri’s long-standing vice president and general manager for EMEA, is to drive digital product development and head product development, sustainability and sourcing in a newly created position: president product platform. He will be responsible for the Napapijri, Timberland and Dickies brands. Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart, who has been with VF for 12 years, will be taking over as Napapijri’s director for EMEA. Most recently, he served as managing director of Timberland for seven years. His new position includes oversight of the platform business and digital key accounts in Europe. Timberland’s new European vice president and general manager is Mariano Alonso, former head of sales and retail. Meanwhile, Jim Pisani has decided to step down from his role as global brand president at Timberland. In his 3.5 years with the brand, Pisani led, among other things, the reorganization of the management team and the enhancement of brand strategy and creative vision. He also introduced measures to globalize the brand’s operations through improved collaboration across all functions and regions. Until a successor is found, Scabbia Guerrini, group president for EMEA, will serve as acting global brand president for Timberland. Guerrini, who has overseen the Timberland brand worldwide since the beginning of 2018, will work closely with Pisani during the transition period.
