Weaker sales of the Haglöfs brand were identified as the cause for a decline of 7.3 percent to 6,976 million yen (€52.9m-$61.5m) for the Other Business unit of the Asics group during the first nine months of this year. Without currency exchange, the sales decline still amounted to 7.1 percent but the segment's loss narrowed to ¥57 million (€0.43m-$0.50m), compared with a loss of ¥157 million (€1.19m-$1.39m) for the same period last year.
