Woolrich is joining a scientific exploration project in Antarctica, providing clothes to be tested in the extreme conditions there. Dale Andersen will wear and test Woolrich garments as he explores the life forms in remote lakes under 20 feet of ice. Woolrich first was involved in polar exloration in 1939, when it outfitted Richard Byrd on his third Antarctic expedition.
