Amer Sports reports that Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company has raised its stake in the company from 4.78 to 5.19 percent. Meanwhile, Amer says it has completed a share buyback program announced last Aug. 15, involving a total of 3 million shares purchased at an average price of €9.18. As a result, Amer now owns about 3.3 percent of its own shares and voting rights. Separately, Amer announced the signing of a five-year, €200 million syndicated revolving credit facility that will raise its liquidity and help refinance its existing syndicated loan.
