Bonvita, a major Danish-based company of sports footwear, will introduce K-Swiss and Wolverine to the Swedish market. The K-Swiss brand was distributed in Sweden by various companies up until a few years ago, although it has now disappeared from retail shelves. Bonvita will set up showrooms in Stockholm and Gothenburg to create visibility for the brands, and has appointed Pierre Hedberg as sales manager to oversee a network of sales agents in the country. Hedberg most recently worked for Merrell in Sweden, where that brand has its own distribution. The Danish company has six brands in its portfolio: K-Swiss, Wolverine, Merrell, Vans, Patagonia and Lofu, and distributes the first two brands in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. It has been distributing Merrell only in Denmark and Norway.
