Canada Goose has expanded production by setting up a new factory in Winnipeg. Over the past six months, the production capacity has been doubled and 25 new employees have been engaged. About 160 employees are going to work in the new factory, which measures 5,300 sqm. The factory includes areas for design, manufacture and distribution. The workforce will be increased by 20 percent during the next 18 months. Canada Goose will cooperate with Yes!Winnipeg, an initiative of the local economic development agency, for the recruitment and training of the new employees. Canada Goose is represented in 44 countries and employs more than 1,500 people worldwide - mostly in Canada.
