Columbia is introducing two new technologies to the European market during this OutDoor show: It is presenting a small collection equipped with Columbia’s own ultra-breathable and waterproof membrane, “Omni-Dry,” which promises to be extremely air permeable and waterproof. The fabric transfers moisture vapor out of garments at an extremely high rate. “Insect Blocker” on the other hand claims to be a synthetic version of a natural protection found in certain types of flowers that provides long-lasting and effective insect protection.
