U.K. outdoor and watersports accessories brand Aquapac has reported strong sales performance in the last nine months. The best performance in the first half of the fiscal year in four years is attributed to investment in new products, a new marketing manager and the Covid-19 pandemic, which is bringing more people to outdoor sports. The rising popularity of cycling and paddleboarding meant that Aquapac was perfectly positioned to capitalize on a growing market with its waterproof cases. The company reported a 30 percent increase in sales in the first six months of fiscal 2020/21. In October 2020, Aquapac hired a new marketing manager, James Tuck. Tuck has extensive marketing and communications experience in the outdoor and marine industries and has previously worked for brands such as Helly Hansen, Raymarine, Princess Yachts and GP Batteries. After six months, he has now been promoted to marketing director of Aquapac to assist and secure in the current growth phase of the company and to further expand the distribution network.
