Open Air Group (OAG), a Stockholm-based group that just acquired a minority stake in Swedish outdoor brand Garphyttan and operates e-retailers Widforss.se, Widforss.no, Retkitukku.fi and Koiravaruste.fi, in addition to several hunting-related brands, has acquired 100 percent of the shares of Ultracom, a Finnish developer and provider of dog tracking equipment and software. Ultracom will now join forces with existing group company Tracker to create a strong Nordic platform for digital hunting experiences and tracking solutions.

Ultracom was founded in 1994 and consists of two companies, Ultracom Group Oy and Ultracom Oy. The group specializes in wireless data transmission and has extensive experience in developing sophisticated information systems and technology platforms. Ultracom has 20 employees and its headquarters are located in Kempele, Finland. Its net sales are expected to reach approximately €5.5 million in 2020.
