Companies such as Patagonia, Vaude and The North Face are clients of the Chia Heir Group. The Taiwanese textile manufacturer Fabric King, whose clients from the outdoor sector include Lafuma, Columbia and Timberland, introduced a smart outfit that combines fabric and LED material in order to increase visibility and safety of consumers. The company Libolon launched the eco-friendly material called “Magic Twin,” a stretch fabric with different functions of each side of the fabric. Another Taiwanese textile company presenting its product innovations was Singtex, which developed a patented process that transforms coffee grounds into yarn used for knitted and woven fabrics, as well as softshell fabrics.
