eVent fabrics has announced the appointment of Dave Wilson as its new sales account manager. Wilson returns to the company after a nine-year break. He joins from Garmin International, where he served as senior product designer and developer, managing soft goods and accessory lines for multiple product categories. During his nine years at Garmin, he also worked in design and development for the outdoor, fitness and automotives sectors. Prior to Garmin, Wilson was eVent's account manager for Scandinavia and the U.K. In 2011, he created Outvi, a company where he combined his passion for cycling with product design and development. Wilson is the third managerial hire this year at eVent fabrics. Earlier this year, the company hired Paul Arnhold as marketing manager and Drew Privitt as product development engineer. Arnhold is responsible for marketing strategy, brand story, customer activation and sales enablement. Privitt works at the Lee's Summit, Missouri facility, where eVent membranes are entirely produced.
