With over 157,000 participants from 195 countries already signed up, the One Run 2021 will be a 24-hour celebration of global unity, humanity and sports. The event starts at 9 am (Kiribati time) on Oct. 16, where local runners will be lacing up their trainers for an hour of activity on the pacific islands. Once this is complete, they will be handing their digital baton over to the next time zone, who in turn will complete their hour. Over 24 hours, the baton will make its way around the entire world. One Run will be broadcasting live from London as hundreds of runners gather to run around the city’s streets at 9 am (U.K. time). On the website of the relay, interviews and messages from participants all over the world, live handovers, music and more will be streamed.
