Adrian Davison has been appointed as European brand director for Gregory backpacks. He previously worked as global equipment and footwear product manager for Berghaus, after assignments at Puma, Fila Sport and Fox Head, focusing on product management, marketing and sales. Davison reports to Jonathan Dory, general manager for Gregory Europe at Samsonite, which purchased Gregory Mountain Products from Black Diamond in 2014. He started on Nov. 21 and is based at the Gregory brand's European head office in Belgium. The new European brand manager is taking over from Andrea Meerholz, who will assist the transition but will become key account manager for all Samsonite brands in Switzerland. She will start with a reduced workload as she is recovering from serious illness, the company said in its announcement. The Gregory team has also been reinforced with Kristof Verleyen, former marketing assistant for Samsonite.
