After its absence from the OutDoor fair in Friedrichshafen last year, Klättermusen will stay away from Ispo Munich as well, as the Swedish outdoor company is continuing to adjust its strategy. The Klättermusen brand was updated last year and the company went through some management changes, after the appointment of Gonz Ferrero as chief executive in October 2015. John Zopfi, international sales manager, left in March last year to become international key account manager for Gore Bike Wear and Gore Running Wear. Eric Spongberg, who was brand director for Klättermusen, left at about the same time. It turns out that his job was taken over by Veronica Wallin, while Ferrero himself has taken charge of international sales. A detailed update is expected in the second half of this year. The majority of Klättermusen's shares was taken over in 2013 by Scope Capital, a Swedish venture capital firm.
