After nearly six years as sales manager at Zamberlan, the Italian manufacturer of high-end outdoor footwear, Fabio Miotto has moved to another shoe company, Aku, where he now serves as export manager. Miotto, who previously spent six years at Tecnica, has collected much experience in exporting shoes from Italy, and Zamberlan's business is about 90 percent international. At Aku, his work will concentrate on the German-speaking countries, where the brand is distributed by Genfoot Europe, the Central European operations of Kamik, the Canadian boot brand whose owners which hold shares in Aku. Miotto has replaced Andrea Cattaneo who left last April to join Mondeox, another Italian maker of outdoor footwear.
