Albert Habsburg was recently appointed to the position of commercial director at Schöffel, responsible for controlling, finances, legal issues and all financial matters linked to the company's operative business. For the past 17 years, Habsburg had been working for Kunert, the sock specialist based in Germany. Schöffel has restructured its management board. Next to marketing/sales, procurement/logistics and commercial management, the family-run business has added human resources and organization/digitization departments to its executive management. All divisions report directly to Peter Schöffel, managing partner, and Felix Geiger, chief executive. Founded in 1804 in Schwabmünchen, Schöffel is now managed by the seventh generation of the family in the person of Peter Schöffel, who oversees a team of 200 people. The company recorded total sales of about €100 million last year.
