Amer Sports has promoted Jean-Yves Couput to the position of global marketing manager for its Suunto brand. Stationed at Amer's U.S. office in Ogden, Utah, he recently acted as global outdoor brand manager for Salomon and as marketing director for Amer's winter and outdoor sports activities in the Americas. Couput will replace Michael Sinclair after a transition period on Aug. 1.
