Vincent Wauters, who has been driving the strong development of Arc'teryx, is leaving the Amer Sports group, where he had been recently appointed president of apparel and member of its executive board. Heikki Takala, president and chief executive of Amer, says he is taking direct responsibility for the development of its apparel segment because this business unit is “a key acceleration pillar” for the group. Wauters is going to pursue a career outside the industry after eight years with Amer.
