Andrew d'Acquisto has been appointed sales director at Mammut North America, switching from Chums/Beyond Coastal, where he was national sales manager. D'Acquisto started at Mammut on Sept. 21, taking over from Rand Whitney. Although Mammut North America is established in Vermont, D'Acquisto will be based in Salt Lake City, Utah, to centralize key accounts and the Swiss brand's activities around the Outdoor Retailer show. Prior to Chums/Beyond Coastal, D'Acquisto spent more than three years with Gregory Mountain Products as North American sales manager, after several more years with specialty retailers in Colorado and around San Francisco.
