Bernd Mayer, international sales manager at Leki, has left at his own request after 30 years with the German supplier of poles. Mayer was responsible for Leki's sales in Asia and Eastern Europe. Leki aims to focus more intensely on North America, Asia and Scandinavia in the near future. Michael Brechtelsbauer, who had joined Leki last September from Salewa as international sales manager responsible for Asia and North America, will take care also of the company's sales in Scandinavia with the support of Matthias Hatt, chief sales officer at Leki, who is primarily responsible for sales in Germany. Leki is planning to invest in a new IT system to be more effective with production and deliveries.
